Rey Horus successful showing at King of the Indies Tournamentduring Wrestlemania Weekend opened up many eyes to his talent. Because of his showing Rey Horus was able to get booked for EVOLVE shows this weekend.
However, his reaching out comes at the expense of at least one canceled appearance and possibly another. Lucha IV’s main event featuring Xtreme Tiger (TNA’s Tigre UNO) vs. Rey Horus will not happen because tonight in El Centro, because Rey will be facing Caleb Konley at EVOLVE 41 in Tampa Florida. No replacement has been announced. When I called the number for tickets, I was promptly hung up when I asked who the replacement would be. And my return call was ignored.
Rey has a match on Saturday the 18th in Orlando, which shouldn’t conflict with his next Sunday’s date, but with travel, could. His next scheduled match in SoCal is for UIPW in Los Angeles against Steve Pain. Unfortunately I was only able to reach the voicemail for UIPW and as of publishing this article, I haven’t heard back.
