This is Draven UnScripted with a full recap of the Alpha Omega Wrestling Tag Wars event in Indio, ca on Sunday, February 16th 2014.
Show kicks off with Stepdaddy Roscoe welcoming everyone to the show & 
introduced the announce team plus special guest commentators AOW Desert
Champion The American Oni & Alpha Female champion Pris. Christian Rosenberg made his way to the ring to confront Stepdaddy Roscoe yet again & talk about how he shows favoritism towards certain stars like Drake Fortune
which led to Fortune coming out to talk about Roseberg involvement in certain matches over the months. Arguements ensued until Stepdaddy Roscoe announced that the first match would be a #1 conterdership match for the AOW
Desert Championship featuring Drake Fortune vs Mr. Morality & two men who had issues with these two particular stars in Spectre & Darkness.
Fatal 4 way #1 Contendership for the AOW Desert Championship:
Mr. Morality (w/Christian Rosenberg) def Drake Younger, Spectre & Darkness (w/JJ Young) when The Monsters (Killa Gorilla & Trex w/Jacob Tarasso) attacked Fortune allowing Mr. Morality to get the pinfall. Stepdaddy Roscoe was upset & confused on this attack as he helped Fortune to the back.
Stepdaddy Roscoe then returned to the ring to introduced your special
guest ring announcer for this evening, none other but yours truly… Mike Draven as I took over the ring announcer duties for the show.
“The Veteran” Rudy Luna (w/ Popz) def “The High Flying Sensation”
Steven Andrews. After the mach, The Monsters returned to attack Andrews as Rosenberg told Stepdaddy that he & his new team will continue to reek havoc on the AOW stars unless Stepdaddy hands over ownership of AOW. Stepdaddy
said he won’t do that & will fire Rosenberg if he doesn’t stop & The Monsters will never work for AOW again. Roseberg says he’ll have them stop if they’re in Tag Wars & Stepdaddy agreed.
Richies Slade & Tab Jackson def The American Oni & Hudson Envy. Afterwarsds, Dexter Milhouse came into the ring & told the ref he’s cashing in his Cash in the Case contact & hit The American Oni with a “White Noise” finisher to become the NEW AOW Desert Champion as Richie Slade & Aden Reyes celebrated in the ring. (Best Pop of the Night with the title victory)
AOW Tag Team Championship: King of Suplexes (Blake Grayson & Anjul Stone w/ Pris) def PPRAY (Pretty Peter Avalon & Ray Rosas) with a superplex from the top from Grayson to Rosas to retain the championship
AOW Heavyweight Championship:
“Big Nasty” Eric Watts (w/ Pris) def The Hobo & Nick Jackson with a Mafia Kick on Jackson to retain the championship Prior to the Tag Wars main event, Kings of Suplexes returned & talked about it doesn’t matter who wins, K.O.S. will defeat them just like everyone who came before them & joined Big Rob & Christian Rosenberg at the commentators table.
(Tag Wars is a triple threat tag team match where anyone can tag anyone i the match & once a tag team is eliminated, another team enters the match until all teams have entered the match with the winning team will be the #1 contenders for the AOW Tag Team Championships… Due to weather conditions, Amazing Red & Brian XL were unable to make it as advertised.)
Main Event: Tag Wars Team Hi Def (Drake Fortune & Steven Andrews) outlasted all teams last pinning Killa Gorilla to win Tag Wars & become the #1 Contenders to the AOW Tag Team Championship Tag Wars drew a decent crowd & the show was pretty good. As to my matches of the night, I felt these had some great technical wrestling, overall good chemistry & just stood out above the rest:
Rudy Luna vs Steven Andrews (great match, great technical wrestling)
PPRAY vs K.O.S.(1st time wrestling each other but worked well & hope to see more matches between them, fans got into this match)
Tag Wars ( great concept & featured a lot of tag teams, some established like Joey Ryan & Candice LeRae, Rated 2G, The Monsters, Freedom Avengers. But I
was really impressed by Nor Cal teams PB & J with their extreme power & brute force as well as Channel Surfers with their overall wrestling ability & drew some good heat from the fans)
Pop of the night goes to Dexter Milhouse winning the AOW Desert Championship, PB & J total domination of Eli Everfly & Jacob Diez carrying both Jeff Orcut & Jeremy Jager & doing a double Samoan Drop on them.
AOW next event will be on Saturday, April 5h in Indio, Ca featuring TNA star Hernandez
