This show was a great show to attend, if you missed this show you definitely need to catch the next AWS Women’s show in the future. This show was a packed show with every fan waiting to see some Ladies wrestling in So Cal.  In a business that’s dominated by male wrestlers its not that often we get to see the ladies step in the ring in Southern California but AWS is one of a small few promotions that showcases women’s wrestling on a regular basis but is the only promotion to ever give a show devoted to the ladies. By doing this, they give the fans a chance to see women’s wrestling that isn’t portray on TV…meaning that these ladies come in all different sizes & can wrestle. These ladies who competed on the show are extremely tough with wrestling multiple times on the show just for the fact that they want to entertain the fans. We saw AWS alumni return to give the fans a great show & we saw newcomers make a big impact on the fans.

But like with all shows I attend, I have picked my Match of the Night & there are a few. If you read the results, then you realize that this show had 19 matches over a 4 hour show & after much consideration, these matches took the MOTN:

Mariah Moreno vs Crystal White

Mariah Moreno vs Kurai Hime

Mariah Moreno vs Hudson Envy

Katarina Leigh vs Candice LeRae

Christina Von Eerie vs Lufisto

Scorpio Sky vs BBOY vs Little Cholo

Moreno vs White/Hime/Envy: In all 3 match ups, Mariah Moreno showed great chemistry, storytelling & technical wrestling with all 3 ladies. Each match was a battle between everyone she faced. Crystal White showed not only does she have beauty but she can wrestle. Hudson Envy continues to show Southern California that she is the future of women’s wrestling in a grueling battle she had with Moreno but I was extremely surprise by Kurai Hime with how agile & powerful she is in her match with Moreno…Hime is definitely on the radar on who you should watch in upcomingSONY DSC shows.

Leigh/LeRae: Another great match between the AWS Alumni & the Former WWE/TNA star with both ladies showed great technical wrestling & chemistry. I hope to see both ladies compete again in the near future.

Von Eerie/Lufisto: Its been awhile since we’ve seen the AWS Women champion in the ring but bringing a challenger like Lufisto to Southern California, gave the champ a run for her money. Lufisto & Von Eerie are no strangers to each other as they’ve battled in other promotions like Shimmer but these two ladies gave the fans a match to remember….overall a great match.

Sky/Cholo/BBoy: Honestly, what can I say about this match but just it was very, very good. All 3 men have history with one another & gave the fans a match that will be talked about for some time. You had technical ring work, multiple pin & submission attempts & high spots. All 3 men have great ring presence & in the end Sky out thinked everyone to gain the win & the championship…Cudos to all.

So be on the lookout on Socaluncensored.com for news on another possible AWS Women’s show in the near future because you really don’t want to miss this show. Once again, thank you to all the ladies who competed on this show, you definetly showed you all have Beauty, Brains & Brawn.
