As the news was reported last week, MPW Commissioner Dan Ferran stated that the MPW Maximum Championship was declared vacant when Former MPW Max Champion GQ Money lost his career vs career match to Brawlin Bo Cooper. But this week, Dan Ferran & MPW has announced that they’ll be a
tournament to crown the New Maximum Champion.
This tournament will be multi bracketed & will continue on for a few months until MPW crowns a new champion. And the tournament will start at the next show on Saturday, June 22nd at the boys & girls club of Simi Valley. Three matches have been announced for Bracket A & will happen at the June 22nd show:
Hobo vs. Killa Gorilla (MPW Debut)
Jason Flame vs. Tofer Cash
Jacob Tarasso vs. Spectre
More announcements will be made soon in regards on who will compete in the Maximum Championship tournament.
