This is the full results & review for IWL’s “Won’t Back Down” show in Chino, Ca:

Fatal 4 way for the #1 contendership for the Breakout Championship

Che Cabrera defeated Tyler Durken, Joseph Knox & Seville the Thrill to become the New #1 Contender w/ a cradle powerbomb

Breakout Championship

Simon Lotto defeated Steven Andrews to become the New Breakout Champion via Fisherman Driver

Afterwards, Andrews argued with the ref & IWL owner Vic Luna about the match which led for Andrews to steal the championship before the crowd & Lotto had the chance to see the reveal of the new championship.

The Mixtape Kings (Jacob Diez & Jerome Robinson) defeated The Frost Tip Warriors (Eddie Randle & Ryan Kidd) and Fresh 2 Death (Leo Blaze & Josh Rozay) with a Doomsday Device/Powerbomb

As IWL announcer Tony Graziano was about to present the next match, “The Nomad” Damon Divine made his way to the ring, grabbed the mic & begin to talk trash about IWL & the fans in attendance. Which led for Justin Ryke to make his appearance & the two started fighting around ringside only to get broken up by security. Ryke then grabbed the mic & talk about that both Ryke & Divine are in the TNA Gutcheck Challenge, their Twitter war that’s been going down since February & the fact that Ryke is ready to fight. Divine didn’t want anything to do with Ryke which made Ryke upset & challenge Divine to a match at the next show with $1000.00 of Ryke’s own money on the line & Divine accepted.

“Big Nasty” Eric Watts defeated “The Definition of Pain” Terex via DQ when Christian Cole attacked Watts with a Chair.

Afterwards, Cole ordered Terex to finish Watts with a series of Splashes. Cole got on the mic & talked about how Watts chokeslammed Cole at the last show & wanted to get even with him & named Terex Cole’s newest associate.

Famous B & Willie Mack defeated The RockNes Monsters (Johnny Yuma & Johnny Goodtime) when Mack hit a Chocolate Thunder driver on Yuma

IWL Champion Johnny Saovi & Former WWE Star John Morrison defeated IWL Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) via Starship Pain by Morrison

Main Event under Anarchy Rules

Team Crossrose (Eric Cross & IWL Anarchy Champion Ray Rosas) defeated “Psycho Shooter” Drake Younger & “The New Age Punisher” B-Boy when Cross hitting “Cross Out” on B-Boy

Tonight’s show was IWL’s first show of the new year & like always they didn’t disappoint. Every match was solid matches which left the fans in an amazement & wanting for more. The fans were very vocal on who they cheered & jeer for in the matches and after the end of the show, everyone left feeling satisfied and wondering what with the next show on Friday, June 28th will bring. As of now we know it will be Justin Ryke vs Damon Divine with a $1000.00 on the line.

But like always, I have the difficult decision on which match would be consider to be the match of the night. And to be honest, I felt that were a few matches that got the crowd going so I’m going to list them and make these matches my picks:

Cabrera vs Knox vs Durken vs Alvarez

Despite some hiccups on a couple of spots, this was a great match to kick off the show. Mind you that this match was exclusively for the fans in attendance & not for the fans who ordered it on IPPV, the fans got into this match. Che Cabrera continues to show with every match he gets better & better & why he was voted Socaluncensored’s Rookie of the Year.

Lotto vs Andrews

As the “first” match of the night, these two have a long history in IWL being that they’re former tag partners. And adding the Breakout championship (which will only be defended in the exclusive pre-show match) gave both men a chance to shine. These two men have some great chemistry & put on a great match.

Willie Mack/Famous B vs RockNes Monsters

Either face or heel, RockNes Monsters are always a fan favorite & in this match, they put everything into this war with Famous B & Willie Mack where we can see these four men build up a great storyline for months to come. Famous B & Willie Mack have a great chemistry with each other in this tag team duo where if other promoters gave it a chance just like the RockNes Monsters, Famous B & Willie Mack can be a very dominating tag team throughout Southern California & put on some great matches with any tag team here.

Saovi & Morrison vs Young Bucks

In any promotion they compete in, The Bucks are cheered or jeered but no matter what, they’re a fan favorite & in typical Bucks fashion they put on a great match against Saovi & Morrison. FKA John Morrison didn’t disappoint the fans as we were treated to his moves in his arsenal including Starship pain to get the win but he also gave his respect to Saovi who in the past few months has been getting alot of criticism from others. But in this match, Saovi “turned it up a notch” & showed the fans why he is IWL Champion as well as proving himself to all the critics that he means business.

Rosas/Cross vs Younger/B-Boy

This was a main event that will be talked about for a long time as these four men had one hell of a battle with each other. This feud started back at the December show after Rosas won against Younger with Cross & B-Boy getting involved. And adding this match as Anarchy Rules (hardcore match), these guys left it all in the ring. Multiple weapons were used, fighting around the crowd, alot of big spots which made fans cheered & wanting more. All four men told a great story which complimented each other & in the end all four men got a standing ovation from the crowd.

That’s all fans, if you like or dislike my matches of the night, feel free to post a comment on the message board, address it in the IWL show & voice your opinion would love to hear what you thought. IWL’s next show will be on Friday, June 28th & be sure to check out Socaluncensored.com’s Facebook soon for photos of this show. So until next time this is Mike Draven..signing off
