AWS presents ‘Nobody’s Fool’ Saturday night April 13th,2013.
Returning to the AMERICAN LEGION POST in Southgate, CA. AWS comes off a star studded 11 year anniversary show that featured some of the top talent in southern California today!
A new lightweight champion was crowned and fans got to see just what AWS is all about! We bring a mix of all forms of the SoCal scene as well as feature top talent from around the world.
(THE YOUNG BUCKS vs PPRAY);
In one out of two of the main events featured on april 13th you will see former tag team champions THE YOUNG BUCKS vs the new upstart team of RAY ROSAS & PRETTY PETER AVALON also known as PPRAY! They will have a lot to prove as the YOUNG BUCKS have been very busy since we last saw them in a AWS ring. They have gone on to be featured in PWG,ROH,TNA and more! Ppray has to step it up in what is sure to be a classic tag team match!
(BRANDON GATSON-CHAMPION vs B.BOY);
The number one contender B.BOY who at the 11 year anniversary event won a 8 man amazing elimination match up beating some of the top talent in SoCal today gets his shot at the new AWS heavyweight champion BRANDON GATSON. GATSON had defeated EXTREME LOCO at a EWF event in San Bernardino just a few months back when both company’s titles were on the line. Now GATSON gets put to the test against one of SoCal’s tops!
(SCORPIO SKY vs CHOLO);
Things heated up between old friends in the 8 man elimination match last month. And the two men that were the last two in the 159 world record breaking battle royal back in June of 2010 got into it again.SKY attacked B.BOY after getting eliminated and CHOLO was not going to have it. No strangers to each other over the years. Cholo had been partners with SKY before as together they defended the tag team titles. Friendship is out the door as SKY has changed his ways in the ring.Look for this one to steal the show.
(THE BALLARD BROTHERS-tag team champions vs THE L.A. F’ERS-piloto suicida & shamu jr.);
Another AWS classic match up as once again the very verbal L.A. F’ERS get another shot at long time enemies THE BALLARD BROTHERS. Don’t think for a second that the BALLARDS can’t keep up with the fast paced lucha libre style of the F’ERS. The BALLARDS are very well rounded and know the lucha style.
(CANDICE LERAE vs HUDSON ENVY the re-match);
Manager MONDO VEGA could not get it done vs CANDICE LERAE at the last show.CANDICE got her revenge on her former manager from when he joined HUDSON ENVY back in Aug. 2012 when he turned on her to join his forces with the new kid in town-HUDSON ENVY. At the 11 year anniversary show CANDICE LERAE pinned MONDO VEGA after a top rope ball plex. Before she could even get to her feet, HUDSON hit the ring to destroy her. Together MONDO and HUDSON tried to beat CANDICE down, but fell short as the AWS women’s champion CHRISTINA VON EERIE come out to help her run them off! So this brings us to a re-match from Aug. 2012 at SUMMER HEAT #2. Can CANDICE get it done all alone out this against these two? Or will she have back up in her corner as well? We will find out on April 13th.
(EL RIDICULOSO-lightweight champion vs KADILLAC)
The new lightweight champion gets put to the test right off the bat as he will face off against former EWF Lightweight champion KADILLAC. EL RIDICULOSO was able to beat SINDARIN to win the title, but can he beat KADILLAC to hold onto it? Time will tell.
(JOHNNY PARADISE vs RYAN TAYLOR);
Former AWS champion JOHNNY PARADISE vs former EWF champion RYAN TAYLOR. This is sure to please!
(CEDRIC ‘THE HITMAN’ vs ???????);
On Saturday night April 13th we will see the return to the ring of yet another AWS star that has not seen any action here in SoCal in months! Poor CEDRIC has no clue who it it and is demanding the the AWS office tell him. Well he has to wait until it’s match time to find out with everyone else!
