This the results of the EWF show which took place

in covina on Friday, November 2nd 2012

A great turnout of fans for this evening Empire Wrestling Federation show in covina

at the Knights of Columbus hall. Before the show, EWF announcer Josh Austin came out to welcome the crowd to the show & introduce EWF’s commentary team of Matt Sinister & Wade Needham.

#1 Brute Barreto vs Jeff Irving

Brute made his entrance first to a series of boo’s from the crowd & in return, Brute taunted the fans back. Irving made his entrance to a nice reaction from the crowd. The match started off as the two worked each other over with arm wrenches & take downs, but Brute delivers a series of punches followed up with a hard headbutt to Irving. Jeff Irving was able to get control of the match but as he whipped Brute to the turnbuckle, Irving tried to execute a monkey flip but Brute was able to turn into a bearhug waring down Irving. In the end, Brute Barreto nailed a spinebuster on Irving for the three count.

#2. EWF Tag Team Championship

The Bar Room Saints vs The Hollywood Underground

The team of Dave the Bruiser & Ein Idol, The Hollywood Underground along side their manager Crystal Michelle made there way out first, taunting fans & showing off the belts. The Bar Room Saints came out to a great response from the fans. As the bell rang, all four competitors were brawling in the ring before the ref was able to get order restored. Their was alot of quick tags being made early on by Murphy & Dunbar but things changed when Bruiser was able to get a cheap shot on the Saints. The fans quickly got on Idol giving him a “Ryan Seacrest” chant & Crystal Michelle was able to get some chokes on Murphy while the ref was distracted. Murphy was able to get the tag into Dunbar but once again the ref wasn’t in position and Murphy was getting worked on again by the Hollywood Underground. But while in the corner, Murphy was able to hit a Double knee to the face of Idol & was able to get the tag to his well rested partner & Dunbar went to town. With a double team attempt, Murphy returned into the ring fighting with Bruiser & Dunbar was able to get the roll up on Idol for the three count.

#3 Tyshaun Prince vs Brandon Gatson

This was the debut match for Tyshaun Prince & the fans taunted him as he made his way to the ring but as Brandon Gatson made his way, he received a great reaction from the crowd. At the start of the match, Prince showed Gatson his strength with a series of power moves. Gatson tries to cut down the towering Tyshaun but no matter what he throws at him Prince won’t be knocked off his feet. Tyshaun continues to show his domination on Gatson by tossing him over the top rope but Gatson nailed him in the gut & went for a sunset flip. But the might of Prince simple grab him & lifted him up & delivers a devastating clothesline. Prince decides to go for a falling headbutt but Gatson was able to move out of the way & Gatson finally has the upper hand in the match. Gatson continues to work over Tyshaun but is showing the signs of pain since Tyshaun punished Gatson throughout the match but never the less Gatson sends Prince to the corner & tries his handspring move in the corner but the pain was too much for him as Prince was able to turn it into a bearhug.

EWF Champion Joey Ryan made his way to ringside to get a better view of the action & to scout the number one contender to the championship Brandon Gatson. Ryan did get involved in the match by grabbing a chair & tossed it into the ring. As the ref went to put the chair away, Ryan tried to use the belt to hit Gatson but ended up hitting Prince instead which led Gatson to hit a Stunner on Prince for the three count.

Just before intermission, Matt Sinister wanted to issue a statement about his recent actions of late in regards to SoCal Crazy & costing him a chance to become EWF champion. Sinister addressed is career throughout Southern California, his title regins but more importantly his injuries & why he is no longer competing. But even though he admitted in costing SoCal Crazy the match for the title, he didn’t want to continue to have the burden on his shoulders & call out Crazy to appologise. SoCal Crazy comes out to the ring but doesn’t trust what Sinister is saying. Sinister does appologise & sticks his hand out to SoCal but fans in attendance are screaming to SoCal not to shake his hand. All of a sudden, Sugar Sweet runs into the ring & attacks SoCal which led for a referee to come to the ring to start the match.

#4. American Championship

SoCal Crazy vs Sugar Sweet

Sugar Sweet continues to beat down SoCal Crazy but he was able to counter his attack with a series of pin attempts but Sugar was able to kick out and gave SoCal a few pinning attempts as well. Both men traded chops to eachother in the corner. Sugar Sweet continue to work SoCal & tried multiple times for pins with Sugar Sweet’s feet on the rope for leverage but the ref was able to see this & broke up the pin attempts. But Crazy was able regain control of the match, tosses Sugar Sweet to the outside to the apron but Sugar was able to leap over the top to avoid a shoulder block from Crazy but in turn Crazy went through the ropes & was waiting on Sugar Sweet & did a sunset flip on him. Sugar Sweet was able to hold onto the ropes to avoid falling back on the mat but the ref was telling him to let go but Sugar didn’t want to so the ref had no choice to kick his hand off the ropes which made Sugar fall back into the sunset flip & SoCal was able to get the three count.

Your Winner & Still American Champion: SoCal Crazy

Afterwards, Rico Dynomite & members of La Familia came out & attacked SoCal Crazy but as the referee Justin Borden tried to stop the attack, La Familia attacked him which led out a group led by Ironman Mike Maze to the rescue. Dept. Commisioner Johnny Starr came out to restore order & announced at the December show they’ll be a ten man elimination match between Team Sinister against Team SoCal.

Just as the show was coming back from intermission, Raccid Abdula Muhammed Nijjar came out to address the fans on his take of what is wrong with society today. Talking about the upcoming presidental elections to how people are raising their children. After he was finished with his Tiraid, he began to pray in the ring before he exited the ring which brought back Ironman Mike Maze & he addressed Nijjar’s recent comments by stating that Nijjar should make an attempt to come to December’s show so he & Maze can “Have a discussion”.

#5. Tarasso vs Richie Slade

Tarasso comes out being very brashed & mocking the fans as where Richie Slade comes out to a nice reaction from the fans. This match had alot of back & forth action between the two competitors. Slade hit the ropes in attempt to deliver a kick to Tarasso but he was able to give him a flying elbow. Tarasso sends Slade to the corner & tries to do a move only to get a double foot to the chest & drove him down to the mat. Slade hits a corkscrew clothesline on Tarasso for the win.

#6 Scorpio Sky vs Jeremy Jaeger

Scorpio Sky makes his way out first to a series of boo’s and a “Harold” chant which already upset him before the start of the match. Jeremy Jaeger comes out to a good reaction & makes his way to the ring but as the bell rings, Scorpio extends his hand out to show the sign of good sportsmanship but as Jaeger shakes his hand, Sky attempted to nail a cheap shot to Jaeger but it didn’t work. Both men work eachother over but Sky was able to ware down Jaeger with chinlocks. Jaeger was able to reverse them & hit some hip tosses on Sky which led him to the outside for a quick breather. Scorpio Sky was able to get the upper hand on Jaeger working him on the ropes trying to choke him out using the ref’s five count to his advantage. Sky continues to use a rear chinlock to ware down Jaeger to the point that the ref is there to raise his hand to see if he’s knocked out but as the ref lift’s his hand for the third time, Jaeger was able to wake up & counter Sky. Scorpio was able to stop his momentum & headed to the outside of the apron to give Jaeger a flying shoulder block but Jaeger was able to use Sky momentum & turn it into a powerslam, goes for the cover for only a two count.

As both men were getting up onto there feet, Sky tried to execute the Ace of Spades but Jaeger got out of it but as he tries to hit Sky, Sky turns his attempt into a side effect. Sky picks him up & both men deliver shots to eachother but Jaeger was able to deliver an implant DDT to Sky. As Sky regains his composer, Jaeger tries a move to him in the corner but Scorpio pulls the referee between himself & Jaeger which led Jager to stop before he collided with the ref. Scorpio Sky was able to hit the Ace of Spade on Jaeger for the win.

#7 Non-title Match

Joey Ryan vs Ryan Taylor

EWF Champ Joey Ryan comes out to a sea of boo’s from the crowd which didn’t phase him a bit. Joey Ryan grabs the mic & talks about his new career as the newest member of the TNA roster but says he’ll finished up all of his contractial obligations & saying that there isn’t anyone on the roster that can beat him & he’ll take the EWF championship away from the company. He finished up by calling out his opponent Ryan Taylor to the ring for a “wrestling lesson”.

Ryan Taylor comes out greating the fans around the ring before he enters for his match. Just as the bell rings, Taylor nails Joey Ryan with a dropkick out of nowhere which stuns the champ & he decided to go to outside the ring to gain his composer which led for Taylor to hit a crossbody from over the top rope. As Taylor brings him back inside the ring, Joey was able to gain the upper hand on Ryan Taylor, working him over & choking him in the corner. But both men had near falls on the other but Taylor was able to hit a spinning elbow to Joey sending him to sit by the corner & Taylor hitting a running facewash to the champ. Taylor also was able to give Joey a splash mountain bomb from the corner for another near fall. But Ryan Taylor tried to hit his finisher The Perfect Circle, Joey ryan was able to push him off & hit a superkick to Taylor which didn’t phase him. So Joey Ryan hit a second superkick immediately which did rocked him for a bit which led to Joey Ryan to hit a third superkick  to Ryan Taylor to get the three count.

Your winner: Joey Ryan

As soon as the match was over, Brandon Gatson made his way to the ring with a contract for a EWF Championship match for the December show. Gatson give the contract to Joey ryan and demands him to sign it since he agreed to the match. Joey Ryan reviews the contract which made Gatson to turn to the fans & get them to chant, “sign the contract” but as soon as he turns to face the champ, Ryan hits a Stunner on Gatson knocking him out. Joey Ryan then signs the contract over the body of Brandon Gatson & raises the championship over his head.
