Thoughts on the CWF Hollywood TV Taping

On a sunny Sunday in October, the fans of one of Southern California’s favorite Indy promotions, Championship Wrestling from Hollywood gathered outside the Glendale studios awaiting for the time to be let in. Upon entering the studio, fans have known that today’s TV taping was going to be something special as CWFH would be taping their historic 100th episode today & the fans couldn’t wait. And if you have been to any of the tapings of CWFH, you knew you wouldn’t be disappointed.
The stars of CWFH were in full force & ready to go, such stars as Nick Madrid, Los Banditos, Anchors Away, Pretty Peter Avalon, Ray Rosas, Pinky & the No bodies, Johnny Yuma, The Family Stone & many more. The fans in attendance were treated to such amazing matches as The Tribe defending the Tag Team championships against Mikey O’Shea & Johnny Goodtime The Happening. We had Ryan Taylor vs Timothy Thatcher, Andrew Hellman vs Tommy Misfit & the official first match of the monster Othello along side Fresh 2 Death. But what the fans came to see were the 2 specialty matches which were the first ever Casket match in CWFH pitting Shawn Ricker vs his former tag team partner Brian Cage & the first ever Ladder match for the International TV Title between former champion Scorpio Sky against his nemesis and current TV Champ Willie Mack. And the fans inside the Glendale studios received a big surprise as a star made his long awaited return home to Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. Who could it be, well you’ll have to wait & see.
For us fans in attendance, we know the matches & the outcomes but for all of you who were not able to make it to the Glendale studios for this month television taping, I will not spoil it for you. Be sure to catch Championship Wrestling from Hollywood every Sunday morning at 1am on KDOC & trust me you won’t be disappointed.
Before I go, I would like to wish Dave Marquez & the entire crew over at CWFH a big congratulations on achieving 100 episodes. Everyone should be proud of the success you put on for the fans of Southern California over these years and we hope that this will lead to bigger & much more success for you. We hope to see you reach the next goal of 200 episodes & so on & so on. Thank you for 100 episodes & we’ll see you at the next TV taping.
