BTWNCHAOSNORDER’S gives a recap of Dungeon Championship Wrestling at the Masonic Temple Lodge #305, Monrovia on June 24th 2012. A relatively strong Sunday crowd for the 7-match card, featuring 3 marquee matches.
1 – Tito Escondido p. Andres “Hed” Cabrera w/ what looked like a Modified F5 in a strong opener. “Hed” gave Tito a post-match beatdown afterwards, then shook his hand. At least he didn’t break his collarbone when eating the finisher.
2 – Damage Control (Destro & Duke) def. The Sin City Fury when Destro & Duke hit their team finisher for a winning pin by Duke. Small redemption for the duo after dropping the SCP Tag Team titles to SoCal Crazy & Kid Caramba last May at the anniversary show.
3 – Gauntlet match. Gabriel Tobias Busan endured some major beating from Dirty Harold M. before stealing a win w/ a high dropkick. Gabriel, though, couldn’t last against Mr. Tanaka, and was pinned after eating a gutbuster. Moore Cash was up next, and he eliminated Mr. Tanaka, who ate a wayward boot to the face from Jimmy Mayhem. Moore, however, was eliminated by C.B. Slade on a Backslide, and C.B. was able to put his full weight down for the 3. C.B. Slade used the same move to pin & eliminate Jimmy Mayhem, then took advantage of some mishap between Ryan J. Morals & some crazy “fan”–probably one of the wrestlers’ managers doing a work, who tried to interfere, only to smack Ryan up the head w/ a chair, and C.B. got the Backstabber in for the winning pin.
4 – “The NY KO” Nikki p. “The Bloodthirsty Vixen” Amanda w/ a Modified Crucifix. A group of children at ringside threw plenty of heel heat on Amanda throughout this match. Apparently, “The NY KO” joins Michelle Morgan & Allison Danger in what could be a shot for a soon-to-be-christened DCW Women’s title.
5 – After intermission, Tommy Misfit p. Fern Owens w/ a dropkick in the corner, after Sin City Fury came out to unload on Fern w/ some chair shots while Referee Everett Scott was knocked down.
SM – Lucha Libre Rules to set the Final of the Tag Team Tournament. Ultimo Shamu & Dragon Mask def. Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) to become the first DCW Tag Team Champions. Ultimo Shamu hit his signature elevated Stunner on Zokre, allowing Dragon Mask to hit the Frog Splash for the clincher. 2nd best match of the night.

M – Triple Threat Elimination Match for the DCW Championship between Famous B, Brian Cage, & Brian Kendrick. Brian Kendrick used sneaky tactics early on while Famous B & Brian Cage dueled it out, managing to eliminate the defending champion w/ a rollup after B hit the Flashing Lights on Brian Cage. A duel between the Brian’s ensued, w/ a few signature moves used late. But it was “Mr. GMSI” who overcame a Sliced Bread #2 to hit his One-Handed Swinging Neckbreaker to become the new DCW Champion, and it looks like there’s some unfinished business between Famous B & Brian Cage.
