Superstars from the National Wrestling Alliance™, New Japan Pro Wrestling and TNA – Total NonStop Action™ converge for “A Night of Champions” in Lowell, MA!

NWA World Title Re-match
Jeff Jarrett vs. Christian Cage
This match-up of two of the greatest wrestlers of our era was scheduled to be for the NWA World Heavyweight Title until the craziness that was TNA’s PPV Slammiversary went down. Jeff Jarrett appeared to capture the title under questionable circumstances in the King of the Mountain match that also featured Abyss, Ron Killings and the legendary Sting, but new TNA Management front-man James E. Cornette had other thoughts. While this controversy plays out every Thursday night on Spike TV’s TNA Impact, we at NWA Pro guarantee that every effort is being made to have the title on the line in this match on Friday July 7. If that is not possible we will still bring you this battle of world-class superstar athletes. We have called this “A Night of Champions” and between these two men there are very few championships anywhere in professional wrestling that they have not held several times over! You do NOT want to miss this one!

X-Division Special Attraction
Puma vs. Chris Sabin
This rematch from the May 11, 2006 episode of Spike TV’s TNA Impact is one of the most intriguing on the card. Chris Sabin is closing in on another shot at the X-Division title and a victory here would have to put him into a top contenders spot. Puma has also proven himself to be one of the top young superstars anywhere in the sport today, from New Japan Pro Wrestling to TNA to stops throughout the NWA. However Puma cannot seem to get over the hump that is Chris Sabin. After Sabin was victorious at TNA Destination X in a four corners match that also featured Puma and then Sabin won again at TNA Lockdown in an Escape the Cage match that saw Sabin pin Puma, the two locked up in the World X-Cup in a one on one match that still has people buzzing. Again that night Sabin got the best of Puma, but just barely. These two men represent the future of our industry and their battles are quickly becoming the talk of the wrestling world. See the next exciting chapter of this international rivalry in Lowell, MA!

Battle of the Big Men
Aaron Aguilera vs. Matt Morgan (w/Vander Pyle)
It would appear that C. Edward Vander Pyle will stop at nothing to destroy Aaron Aguilera. Not only will he actually be stepping into the ring to team with “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce to face Aguilera and his manager El Jefe on Saturday July 8 in City of Industry, CA, but he is also crossing the country and bringing the monster that is Matt Morgan with him in hopes of destroying Aguilera the day before in Lowell, MA. Aguilera and Morgan, two towering physical specimens, are both looking to make their names on the national scene after trips to Japan. Will Vander Pyle be able to focus and hone the raw size, ability and power that is Matt Morgan or will Aguilera’s strength and determination be enough to overcome the odds? Let’s hope they reinforce the ring for this one!

Grudge Tag Team Match!
Human Tornado & Sean “Syxx-Pac” Waltman vs. Bobby Jo Marshall & “Cowboy” James Storm
The feud between Australia’s Bobby Jo Marshall and Hollywood’s Human Tornado has barely seen any action between the ropes. Most of what has happened has been on the floor, through the crowd and in the locker room as these two men cannot seem to bring themselves to wrestle rather than fight. In an attempt to settle this, each man was allowed to pick his partner for this match. Marshall went first taking one half of the former NWA World Tag Team Champions – America’s Most Wanted member James Storm. Marshall liked Storm’s reputation as a tried and true redneck as well as his history of dominance in tag team matches. Tornado surprised everyone by picking former DX and NWO member Sean “Syxx-Pac” Waltman! On “A Night of Champions” both Marshall and Tornado picked partners that have had multiple reigns with tag team and solo gold. Will experienced partners be enough to keep this match in the ring or will the bad blood between Marshall and Tornado flow into the streets of Lowell?

NWA British Commonwealth Title Gauntlet Night One!
Alex Koslov© vs. T.B.A.
When Alex Koslov defeated Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson & Mikey Nicholls in a 3-Way match to become the new NWA British Commonwealth Champion, some thought the victory was tainted because Koslov didn’t pin defending Champion Anderson. Koslov pinned Nicholls instead while Anderson was distracted by former BC Champion and current NJPW star Fergal “Prince” Devitt. Since this controversy, Koslov has done everything he can to prove that he is a worthy champion. For NWA Pro’s Weekend of Champions, Koslov has decided to pull a rare feat. He will run the gauntlet and defend the title in 3 nights against 3 opponents in 3 cities! NWA Pro officials are scouting worthy opponents and hope to have the match-up announced before the show. Either way, Koslov is in for a long weekend and it starts at the Paul Tsongas Arena in Lowell!

Alex Shelley vs. Ricky Reyes
TNA X-Division star Alex Shelley proclaims himself the be “The Next!” This has been hard to doubt as 2006 alone has seen him have impressive outings againt Minoru, Christian Cage, Roderick Strong, AJ Styles, Goto, Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson, Petey Williams and many more in both tag team and singles action. Ricky Reyes has been a Havana Pitbull, a Rottwieler and an incredibly successful singles wrestler. With the international spotlight on this show both men, who are no strangers to each other in the ring, know that this is their chance to shine. Nothing will be left in the back as these warriors bring everything to the ring on July 7!

Plus 3 Time NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals – Chase Stevens & Andy Douglas will be in action! Do not miss your chance to catch the finest in professional wrestling anywhere!

Special Tag Team Grudge Match
Aaron Aguilera & El Jefe vs. Adam Pearce & C. Edward Vander Pyle
This one has been a long time in the making! The feud between Pearce and Aguilera dates back to their days as a tag team known as Hardkore Inc. Both men had a tendency to try and outshine the other no matter how hard El Jefe tried to get them to gel. They parted amicably when Al Katrazz began teaming with Aguilera and Pearce chose Vander Pyle to be his new manager. Things seemed well for a while as Pearce and Vander Pyle helped the new Hardkore Inc. in their endeavors and vice-versa. But that all exploded last fall when Aguilera made his return from a career threatening neck injury and he and El Jefe chose not to follow the path that Pearce, Al Katrazz and Vander Pyle were on. Pearce and Aguilera began battling in singles, tags and more. Pearce was enraged after Aguilera bloodied and pinned him in War Games in April. Both corner-men began taking a more active roll in the feud as Jefe and Vander Pyle have come to blows at nearly every AWS event this year. This time Vander Pyle and, in his in-ring debut, El Jefe will be legal wrestlers in this contest! Can Pearce and Vander Pyle finally get back their string of losses to Aguilera and Jefe? Will Aguilera even make it to the arena after Vander Pyle’s plan of attack sending Matt Morgan against him in Lowell, MA the night before? Can this match settle SoCal’s hottest feud once and for all?

NWA Pro/AWS Heavyweight Title – 3-Way Dance
Al Katrazz© vs. Human Tornado vs. Babi Slymm
The lineage of the AWS Heavyweight Title is a relatively simple one: Babi Slymm to Adam Pearce to Human Tornado to Al Katrazz with plenty of defenses in between. Three of those four men will face of at Frank ‘N’ Sons Arena on July 8th and whoever walks away with the belt will truly deserve it. Al Katrazz, the big man from the big house, shocked the F’N’S crowd in May with his victory over Human Tornado after a massive top rope chokeslam. Tornado wasn’t happy that interference from Katrazz’s manager Vander Pyle as well as the massive brawl including most of the locker room going on at ringside helped lead to that defeat. Slymm on the other hand was never given a proper re-match last year after Adam Pearce (under a hood as Masked SpyMaster #2) took the title from him. Slymm and Tornado have staked their claims as un-crowned Champions. Al Katrazz holds the belt that both men want. One of these three will emerge as the true champion. Don’t miss the action!

NWA Pro/AWS Light Heavyweight Championship
Lil’ Cholo© vs. Lionheart
One of the most heart-wrenching sights in recent SoCal wrestling memory turned out to be nothing but an elaborate ploy. After a severe neck injury during April’s AWS event that saw both sides of the locker room attend to him and carry him out of the ring, it appeared that Lionheart’s career was over. At the May event the audience and all wrestlers and crew stood around the ring, many with tears in their eyes, as Lionheart announced his retirement from wrestling. He thanked the crowd and the boys for his ability to live his childhood dream and stand between those ropes, if for only a little while. Then he hugged and thanked Lil’ Cholo, the man who’s finishing maneuver, an inverted piledriver, appeared to cost Lionheart the ability to continue pursuing that dream. Lionheart stated that he didn’t blame Cholo as he knew that his longtime friend would never intentionally cause him harm. Then Lionheart shocked the entire building by taking Cholo’s title belt and blasting him across the head with it before fleeing the scene. Stunned beyond reason and now hurting from the cheapest of sucker punches, Cholo managed to do battle later that day with 2006 Best of the West winner TJ Perkins. As the match neared its end, Cholo was attacked again by Lionheart. All available NWA Pro and AWS officials entered the ring to pull them apart and Cholo immediately demanded that AWS Kingpin Bart Kapitzke make this match as soon as possible. It will happen at Bart’s Belated Birthday Bash, but we sincerely doubt there will be cake or presents in this one!

NWA Pro/AWS Tag Team Championship
Midnight Dynamite© vs. Plague & Crayz
The team who hate it when they are referred to as Merc & Jerk have gone on a tear throughout the NWA Pro circuit. They have picked up victories in NWA Pro’s new San Diego territory and at the Inoki Dojo in addition to keeping their titles intact at the Frank ‘N’ Sons Arena. At the last AWS event they won by reverse decision over the team of Bump ‘N’ Grind, Brawlin’ Bo Cooper & the Legendary Sexy Chino. Midnight Dynamite have stated unequivocally that they will not grant that team another title shot. Charles Mercury was quoted as saying that miracles happen, lightning strikes and wrestlers have had heart attacks in the ring and just incase one of those happened, there was no way that he would allow the possibility that Midnight Dynamite would go down in the NWA record books as having lost their titles to any team containing Sexy Chino. Bart Kapitzke relented for now, instead granting the July 8th title shot to the team of the massive Plague & the unpredictable Crayz. Neither of these teams is liked by the crowd, but it appears obvious that the fans at Frank ‘N’ Sons will enjoy seeing Midnight Dynamite try and escape with their lives, let alone titles, against the powerful tandem they must now face.

NWA British Commonwealth Title Gauntlet Night Two
Alex Koslov© vs. Joey Ryan
Alex Koslov is a man on a mission. His attempt to defend the NWA British Commonwealth Title in 3 cities on 3 nights during NWA Pro’s “Weekend of Champions” may not even make it to City of Industry. If Koslov loses his match-up at the Liberty States Wrestling event on Friday, then this will clearly not be a title match. However, if the belt is still on the line, you have to like Joey Ryan’s chances. This is an incredible opportunity as Ryan, the only one of Koslov’s 3 weekend opponents to already be named, will not be facing a fresh man. These two have some history at recent Inoki Dojo shows and this bout has a great chance of stealing the show. Can Alex do it? Will Joey wear NWA gold? Come on out and see!

Bo Cooper (w/Sexy Chino) vs. Andrew Hellman
Bo Cooper & Sexy Chino, the combination known as Bump ‘N’ Grind, know that luck was not on their side at the last AWS event as an inadvertent elbow from Cooper into referee Joe Furror’s face cost them certain victory against Tag Team Champions Midnight Dynamite. Not only that, but since they lost the match, they were moved to the back of the line for title shots. To make matters worse, Sexy Chino has recently suffered a few minor injuries at the Inoki Dojo and to top it all off, there were no more tag team slots open for this event. This means that not only are they missing an opportunity to climb the ranks of the tag team ladder, but that others will be climbing as they stand pat. With all this frustration building up in Bo Cooper and only a singles match to get it out of him, it is not a good time to be debuting AWS wrestler Andrew Hellman… or is it? While Hellman may be new to an NWA Pro ring, he is certainly no stranger to the sport and is very likely to use Cooper’s anger and emotion against the big man at every opportunity. If Hellman can do so, a victory over an established AWS veteran such as Bo Cooper would go a long way towards establishing him in the NWA.

Los Chivos vs. Lil’ Nate & Peter Goodman
After a several month absence, the Lucha tandem known as Los Chivos, Kayam & Enigma de Oro, return to the arena that they have made their home for most of the past four years. The long time AWS Tag Team Champions are looking to get back in the title hunt. On the other side of the ring will be former Light Heavyweight Champion Lil’ Nate and his partner in crime Peter Goodman. These two troublemakers have decided to concentrate their efforts on moving into contention for the titles as well, but may have trouble if they try and take short cuts against the Chivos, who know every trick in the book. This might be a battle of who can cheat the most!

The Manley Brothers vs. The Young Bucks
It seems that every tag team in Southern California wants a shot at Midnight Dynamite and these two tandems are no exception. The Young Bucks, Mr. Instant Replay and Slick Nick had a rough time in their AWS debut last month against the team getting a title shot on July 8, Plague & Crayz. Still, they impressed enough to be brought back for another go round. On the other side of the ring will be the Alaskan born and bred duo of Tim & Jack Manley. The Manley’s are new to Frank ‘N’ Sons, but not to tag team action as they’ve recently had a couple bouts with the Champs. One thing is certain, both of these teams know what it on the line as the tag team division in NWA Pro is at an all time fever pitch!
