Official Pro Wrestling War Press Release for Friday, October 21st

Ladies and Gentlemen on Friday October the 21st, Pro Wrestling WAR will be returning to The Gym at The Park for another exciting Pro Wrestling WAR show. Now before I begin this press release I have to let everyone know that there are changes to the original card that was posted. Jack Evans will not be attending due to a booking in Italy that we felt would be much better for him to take. Also the Human Tornado will also not be able to attend this show but we have found suitable replacements and we here at WAR feel that everyone will find something on this show to interest them. But enough about all of that lets get on with the Preview!Super Dragon vs. Markus Riot:
One of the most talked about matches of this card is also what appears to be one of the most one-sided matches as well. On one side you have the god of Southern California wrestling; a man who has been in the ring with everyone from Samoa Joe, to Kevin Steen, to AJ Styles, to Konnan, to Juventude Guerrera. A man who has held titles in nearly every federation in Southern California he has wrestled in and has wrestled all over the world from the east coast to Japan to England and made his name. That man of course is Super Dragon. So when we were brainstorming who would be his opponent for this show it took us all by surprise when he suggested Markus Riot. Markus is quickly making his own name in Southern California and he is doing just that. Markus now is in for the biggest match in his young career as he attempts to defeat the man who has all but secured his legacy in So Cal. Markus realizing what a win for him would mean to his still blossoming career at this stage. Can Markus defy what seems like overwhelming odds and pull off the upset of the century? Or will Dragon make him just another footnote and beat him beyond recognition?

Hook Bomberry vs. Apolo Khan:
After an exceptional couple of matches for WAR Hook had begun to slowly find his niche in the company. He said that he wanted the chance to prove once and for all that he belonged not only in WAR but also in the middle of the title hunt. He asked for any opponent and wanted to make sure it was someone much larger than him that would make his victory look that much better. We pondered for quite awhile on who we could have him face that would give all of you the hard hitting action you have come to love. We then concluded that he would face someone he knows very well and a man who would be making his WAR debut, Apolo Khan. Khan and Hook have faced one another numerous times up north and now they bring their hard-hitting styles to WAR. Can Hook overcome the obvious size and power advantage? On the other hand, will Khan prove to be too much for the hard-hitting Hook? One thing is certain these two will beat one another black and blue before the night is done!

Charles Mercury vs. Alex Koslov:
Another huge debut for WAR as the Russian Hooligan Alex Koslov makes his debut Friday against the Modern Day Warrior, Charles Mercury. Koslov has been quietly making people know his name with his recent matches all over So Cal and WAR took notice and contacted him on wrestling for WAR. Koslov is eager to prove to WAR that Russia has once again produced a top quality athlete to showcase to the world. The man who he is set to debut against is the arguably the most under-rated wrestler in WAR, Charles Mercury. Mercury has been on quite the winning streak and has posted on of the best win/loss records that WAR has. However Mercury has felt overlooked and passed over by WAR and feels that by destroying a man that WAR is so high on he will make them notice him and perhaps even grant him a title show down the line. Koslov on the other hand feels by defeating Mercury he will showcase to WAR why Russia has produced yet another stellar athlete.

10 Man Tag
The Youngbucks/Sexy Sonny Sampson/Kidd/Diablo
vs.
Los Luchas/Silver Tyger/JR/Infernal:

After what transpired at the last show between Los Luchas and the Youngbucks it was brought to WAR’s attention that the Youngbucks were unhappy with losing what they viewed as a huge match to the Luchas and Tornado/Biggie Biggs. They wanted retribution and revenge and eventually stated that they wanted Los Luchas. Nevertheless, the Youngbucks told us they would be coming with their entire group of High Risk wrestlers! Never ones to back down from such a challenge the Luchas went out and got their own group to make sure the sides were even. With all of these combustable elements on hand plus a number of wrestlers who are not afraid to defy gravity the radar will be going bonkers trying to keep all of them in sight. Ladies and Gentlemen strap your seatbelts on because this one is going to be a helluva ride!

Joey Ryan and Scott Lost vs. Lil Cholo and Alterboy Luke:
After losing to Jack Evans and Super Dragon Joey Ryan stormed into our offices furious. He stated that he felt him and Scott have been screwed right and left in WAR and they demanded another match for the October show. After listening to him we told him they would indeed have a match but we had to decide on their opponents. When we received word that Jack Evans would be unable to attend the show we had to find a match for Lil Cholo. We approached him about the idea of wrestling the X-Foundation and he was more than pleased with the possibility despite the fact we did not have a partner for him. Cholo came back to us a couple days later and said he has the perfect partner in mind and that was his recent partner Alterboy Luke. Luke was another wrestler WAR has kept their eyes on in hope of one day using and when this was suggested it was simply too good to pass up. Luke got back to us excited about not only working for WAR but the opportunity to wrestle against Joey Ryan and Scott Lost. Can the still very new team of Luke and Cholo step it up and prove they are a viable team? Or will the experience factor of Joey and Scott prove too much to overcome?

Shannon Moore vs. Davey Richards:
Davey has been making a huge name for himself all over Southern California and has never forgotten the chance he was first given in WAR. WAR has never forgotten this as well and has given Davey the chance for the match of his career against the former WWE Smackdown superstar Shannon Moore. Moore is making his WAR debut and his So Cal debut against a man who is very comparable to his fast-paced style. Moore expressed excitement about his So Cal debut and is looking forward to pushing Davey to his limit. Moore is looking to prove that as a former WWE superstar he has no equal in WAR. Davey is looking to prove to WAR that our faith in him is not without reason.

Tony Kozina vs. Austin Aries:
The main even of the evening is the match to determine who will be the Pro Wrestling WAR champion one the show is all said and done! Tony Kozina has been saying for months that he is more than capable of adding the name Austin Aries to the long list of people he has beaten in his illustrious career and that this is the chance to prove to everyone that he can do exactly that and take the WAR heavyweight championship. Austin however feels very differently. Austin has been on a tear since winning the WAR title and feels as though there is no one better than him in WAR. Austin is out to prove once and for all why he is the WAR champion. Kozina feels he can out-wrestle Austin while Austin feels he can not only out wrestle Tony but out fight him as well! This match will be a match for the ages and not to be missed!
