Click below for more information.-Chris Sabin worked the openers at PWG’s “Battle of Los Angeles” tournament instead participating in the tournament because he could protect his injured jaw better in six-man tags than singles matches.

-TJ Perkins was pulled last minute from the tournament when he took a bad bump on his neck earlier in the day at the NJPW-USA Pacific Media Expo show. It was mainly a precaution and he was feeling better the next day so he was added back to the card.

-Battle Ground Pro-Wrestling is scheduled to be returning to the Glasshouse in Pomona in October. The date should be finalized shortly.

-WWE will be running a five-stop SoCal tour starting October 14th in San Bernardino at Coussoulis Arena on the campus of Cal State, San Bernardino. Here is the complete schedule:

October 14th – San Bernardino – Raw house show
October 16th – Bakersfield – Smackdown house show
October 30th – Los Angeles – Smackdown
October 31st – Anaheim – Raw
November 1st – San Diego – Taboo Tuesday PPV

-Mick Foley will be signing copies of his new book “Scooter” on September 20th at 7:30 PM at the Barnes & Noble in Santa Monica at the Third Street Promenade.

-Liz Fairbairn, promoter for Lucha VaVoom, announced on the SCU message board that Dr. Wagner Jr., Blue Panther and Solar will be on the October 26th and 27th Lucha VaVoom shows at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles. However, Mistico may be off the shows.

-Tickets for September 30th’s Adrenaline Unleashed show in City of Industry are on sale, however no lineup has been announced.

-The next SCU interview will be with Joey Ryan.
