Grand Olympic to become a church

The Grand Olympic Auditorium, which has held professional wrestling events since 1924, has been sold to the Glory Church of Jesus Christ, and will become the “Glory Vision Center.”The Glory Church of Jesus Christ, which is a Korean church, purchased the Olympic for an undisclosed amount of money from owner Steve Needleman. According to the church all previously scheduled events will go on at the building as planned, however there will be no future pro-wrestling or fight events.

The Grand Olympic was inducted into the Southern California Pro-Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2001.
