Lucha VaVoom “Greatist Hits” pt.1 and pt. 2

Los Angeles, California: – After 8 smash sell-out shows and by overwhelming popular
demand, Lucha VaVOOM is expanding to 2 big nights! To celebrate, we’re presenting
a people’s choice “Greatest HITS”, pitting together your Lucha
VaVOOM favorites; the hilarious Super Porky with his tiny blue monkey sidekick,
Que Monito will grapple with Super Parka. Living Legend Mil Mascaras will face
legendary bad-guy Rey Misterio; the Poubelle Twins will tear up the ring as only
they can, and of course, everyone’s favorite minis matchups! Relive your
favorite moments; if you’ve never seen Lucha VaVOOM, now’s the perfect
time to catch up!
The Buxoticas will perform the classics: Ming Dynatease’s piñata
striptease, Erochica Bamboo’s anarchistic geisha, Summer Peaches and Roky
Roulette’s pogo stick duo, and Frida Kulo will return after a 2 year absence!
Also performing are crowd favorites Kitten DeVille, Ursulina, and the sensational
Karis.

Returning for color commentary is comedian Patton Oswalt (King of Queens),
who will join Blaine Capatch (Beat the Geeks, Blue Collar Comedy) and Tom Kenny
(Mr. Show, voice of Spongebob Squarepants). Renowned for their repartee, the
comedians keep things going and add a “Mystery Science Theater 3000”
element to the already over the-top action. DJ Senor Amor pushes everything
over the top with his incredible rare Mexican vinyl collection. Don’t miss
it!

For those unfamiliar with Lucha VaVOOM, it is a completely unique experience,
combining four matches of authentic Lucha Libre with the cream of the burlesque
crop dancing between matches. Special guest comedians provide off-colour comedy
and commentary: Patton Oswald (King of Queens), Fred Armisen (Saturday Night
Live), Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants, Mr. Show) and of course, our beloved
host, Blaine Capatch (Beat the Geeks, Mad TV).

Lucha VaVOOM made its debut in August, 2002 and has gone on to perform eight
sold out shows at the Mayan. It has been featured on Jimmy Kimmel, WGN Chicago,
Canada’s Much Music/City TV, BBC’s The Grill as well as Fox 11 News
and Telemundo’s “The Roof”. TIME MAGAZINE declares “Lucha
VaVOOM has a big future,” while Rolling Stone featured the show in their
“Cool” issue, proclaiming “it’s enough to make even the
most jaded Hollywood insider jump up and yell “Smackdown!” THE FACE
reports “Lucha VaVOOM is the most exciting, bonkers show I’ve seen
in ages…”

Lucha VaVOOM is also currently making plans to take the show on the road. After
recently signing on with the prestigious Windish Agency, the show is making
