Jim Cornette to send a “surprise” to NJPW-USA

Santa Monica, CA /July 14, 2004 – Today, NJPW-USA Official Kevin Quinn
announced that Jim Cornette and Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) will be
sending a “surprise” to the July 25th NJPW-USA television tapings.Quinn says that he doesn’t know who is being sent, but hopes “its someone
that fan’s in our area will know.” There is no comment from Kentucky based
OVW.

Already announced for the July 25th tapings is Curry Man Vs. El Samurai
marking both fighters’ American debuts and a rematch from the last show
Adam Pearce Vs. Yano. Tickets are on sale at the Inoki Dojo (3200 Olympic
Blvd. in Santa Monica) for $15.00 in advance. The show is scheduled to
begin at 6:30 PM, don’t forget that the first airing of NJPW-USA “Fighting
Spirit” is on July 24th. That program will feature ROH World Champion
Samoa Joe Vs. Babi Slymm, Adam Pearce and Brad Bradley Vs. Tommy Williams
and Eric Matlock, The American Dragon Vs. Joey Ryan and in the Main Event,
Nosawa and Masada Vs. Ricky Reyes and Pinoy Boy. Check your area listing
for KVMD-TV.
