UPW Road Wars presents “Rage For Order” – Saturday July 17th, Torrance, CA

In an effort to bring you the action from Mat Wars to a broader environment, UPW brings you Road Wars, which is the excitement of what Mat Wars gives you in a larger setting, more suitable for a wrestling event. The atmosphere of the Torrance Rec. Center is reminiscent of the old days of wrestling when the Midnight Express and the Rock and Roll Express ruled the scene. Old School atmosphere is back and in Torrance, don’t miss what everybody will be talking about in weeks to come!Already signed for “Rage for Order”:

The Ballard Brothers and Frankie Kazarian
-vs-
The X-Foundation (Joey Ryan, Scott Lost and Funky Billy Kim)

The Ballard Brothers are teaming up with Frankie Kazarian to take on all 3 members of the X-Foundation. After the interference from Joey Ryan at Mat Wars, All 3 X-Foundation members attacked the Ballard Brothers. Frankie Kazarian had enough and came to the ring to help his new friends, but the X-Foundation proved to be too much for Frankie to handle and left him laying in the center of the ring. The X-Foundation is at the top of their game right now, and a victory against the Ballards here could give them the momentum they need to take their titles. Will the Ballards and Frankie be able to work together to beat the toughest trio in Socal? Or will their history get in the way. Find out at Rage For Order!

UPW Women’s Champion
Erica Porter
-vs-
Michelle Morgan

Erica Porter will defend her Women’s Championship against Utah’s Michelle Morgan. Morgan may be new to the Southern California scene, but she is not new to winning championships. She has victories over NWA women’s champ Madison and has been hard at training since relocating to Phoenix. She has what it takes to be champion, not only is Erica Porter one of the toughest competitors (male or female) in UPW, but she also has the Big Schwag in her corner. Morgan feels that Erica has held the Womens title long enough but she needs to overcome more than one person if she wants to be the champion. History could be made in the Women’s Division.

“I Quit” match
Antonio Mestre
-vs-
Lionheart

Sometimes, when hatred runs deep between two people it turns into rage. Uncontrollable and dangerous rage. This rage cannot be justified by a pinfall or victory, sometimes we have to put more than our bodies on the line before a real winner is declared. This is what Lionheart and Antonio Mestre are going to have to do to end this struggle between them. The two were once partners, but that has been put way behind them as their struggle continues. Lionheart (who gets his name from a nickname given to him as a child, as having the heart of a Lion and never giving up) has been constantly struggling from an injury suffered at the hands of “the thrill from Brazil” Antonio Mestre. Lionheart was freed from his doctor to compete last month at Mat Wars, but friend Lil’ Nate stepped in and thought it would be better to heal, but that didn’t stop Lionheart from trying to get his hands on Mestre, who had a big win against Babi Slymm.

Will Lionheart’s injuries prove to be his downfall at the hands of the Brazilian Martial Arts expert? Is he returning to action to quickly?
Or will his heart not let him give in as both men put something worth more than a victory on the line, they put their Pride. The winner will not be determined by pinfall or tapping out to a submission, only by getting his opponent to say the words: “I Quit”

T-n-T
(Tony Stradlin & Tommy Wilson)
-vs-
Off Da Hook (Shawn Riddik & Supabad)

Tony Stradlin has been a man possessed lately. He has done everything possible to beat Frankie Kazarian for his Lightweight Title, but has been unsuccessful. Thus leading to the partnering with Tommy Wilson, who Tony has taken under his wing. Forming the team “T-n-T”. Tony feels he should be getting another shot at Frankie, so he will take out all of his aggressions on the team of Shawn Riddik and Supabad, collectively known as Off Da Hook. These Chemical Youths have really been training hard lately, and it has been pretty much all they do these days. They are ready for the challenge, but will the bodies of Off Da Hook be able to hold up? Or will the Surgical Strike of T-n-T be too much for them? Find out at Rage for Order!

“Old School”
Oliver John
-vs-
Andrew Helman

Andrew Helman had no problem walking in the shadows of Oliver John. He looked up to him as a mentor. Oliver John took Helman under his wing, he took the time to train him, he took the time to become Hellman’s friend, then he took the one thing that meant the most to Andrew Helman – his WSPW Heavyweight Title. Now, at Rage for Order, Andrew Helman gets another chance at the guy who took his WSPW Heavyweight Title. “It’s something I will remember for a long time to come, but he will remember even longer” is what Andrew was quoted recently when finding out that he gets another shot at Oliver John. We’ll find out who wants it more, the teacher or the student.
