NJPW-USA presents Three Main Events for Upcoming TV Taping!

(Chicago, Il/June 2, 2004) – Today Kevin Quinn, NJPW- USA Director of Talent Relations and Bookings announced that the KVMD-TV television tapings on June 26th would host three World Title matches.

IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Heat has signed the contract against top US contender Puma for his title. This is the second US title defense for Heat, his first was at NJPW –USA’s Toukon 2 event against The American Dragon in Hollywood, CA.Kevin Quinn and Ring of Honor President Doug Gentry have completed negotiations to have their World Heavyweight title represented on the television program. ROH World Champion Samoa Joe will defend the championship for the first time on the West Coast against Shinya Makabe. Makabe was had selected by Mr. Inoki to go up against one of the best from his Los Angeles Dojo.

To round out the evening of main events the IWGP Jr. tag team champions The American Dragon and Curry Man will face The Havana Pit bulls. This marks the first US in ring appearance for Curry Man.
