UPW Re-starts its Weekly Lite Show Begining December 6th

After a nearly 6-month hiatus, UPW re-starts its weekly Lite Show,  Saturday
December 6 at 7:00pm at Ultimate University/RAW.

The Lite Show is a low-key, no production/no frills show, designed
to:

  • help brand new wrestlers and trainees get live show experience
and develop their gimmicks and personas

  • prepare more experienced workers for upcoming larger UPW Entertainment
    Overload events

  • take a look at experienced workers who are new to the Southern
    California area

  • prepare for WWE and Zero-One events
The Lite Show will run 3 Saturdays out of every four and Admission
is free.

Beginning January 10, on every fourth Saturday, UPW will present
Monthly Mat Wars, a “Production Show,” with cards announced in advance and with
continuing Storylines.  Admission for Monthly Mat Wars will be $5 and the
schedule will be posted later this week.  But…back to UPW Lite!

Over the years, the UPW Lite Shows have featured John Cena, Victoria,
Nathan Jones and John Heidenreich in their first matches ever and have also
included such luminaries as Mikey Henderson, Ryan Sakoda, Frankie Kazarian,
Predator, Spanky, The Ballards, Hardkore Kidd, Mike Modest, Navajo Warrior and
many more.  Superstars such as Roddy Piper, William Regal and Ken Shamrock
have participated in match-by-match post show “critiques.”

As UPW enters 2004 and its 6th year in business with
20 sent to WWE and over 30 to Japan, its roster and school features more promising
prospects than ever.  We expect 2004 to be a banner year for UPW wrestlers
and Ultimate University students.
