Late PWG Thoughts . . .
Great overall show with not one bad match, either night. Everyone has already said what could be said about the tourney. I was a little surprised as to there not being any upsets. I was thinking that maybe Scorpio Sky or even Hook could have gone and upset their respective opponents and put the whole tournament on a turn, giving both men a push and adding to the mystery as to who could win. As for the finals, good story told by both workers and it’s great to see an indy worker sell an injury throughout two matches. As a choice, Frankie could not be a better champion for PWG. He has always been a main event performer, since even way back in the IWC. He has garnered national attention with the NWA-TNA matches and his bouts on the east coast. I’m glad to see a local get the belt rather than someone who is rarely in SoCal, Shark Boy and PCW anyone?Looking Ahead to PCW . . .
PCW put on a really good show last month, but something has been really irking me about PCW, and that is the lack of intelligence that those who are closely aligned with PCW, I’m looking at you Mike Vega, use in their posts and responses on the internet. Mike, this is something that you should have learned a long time ago, though it seems like you don’t listen to anyone. YOU CAN’T ACT LIKE A JACKASS ON THE INTERNET AND COME OUT LOOKING LIKE ANYTHING OTHER THAN A JACKASS!!! When a worker comes on the board and tries to put himself over or argues with other posters, like Mr. Walters or Mr. Crast, you will always come out underneath. ALWAYS. Arguing about why fans don’t like your matches does not make any sense what so ever.

After I put my body on the line, I certainly don’t want to come home, check the internet, and read that one or three or five people hated my match and distinctly list why they don’t like it. To be honest, it really sucks and it is depressing. I do get defensive about my matches, but the last thing I will do is argue with someone as to why my match is good or not, especially on the internet for everyone else in SoCal to read. It’s their opinion, you can’t argue with it. All you end up doing, Mike, is making yourself look like a jackass. Except in this case it wasn’t just you, it was PCW and all the workers that put their bodies on the line with you. Because you closely align yourself with PCW, you make everyone at PCW look like idiots. Instead of coming on the board and bitching and looking like an idiot next time you don’t like what some “internet keyboard geek” who, by the way pays your payoff for the night, says about your match, I recommend setting up a huge bucket with bottled water in your house and kicking it over in a temper tantrum. That seems to work well. PCW needs to put a leash on this guy.

Wow, didn’t mean for all that to come out. Oh well, moving on to the matches:

Silver Tyger/Chippy Sanchez vs. Infernal/Steve Pain: Should be a solid opener, like always for a WPW main event. Look for some good lucha.

Bo Cooper vs. Jake Cross: Your guess is as good as mine. Bo is Bo, you know what you’re gonna get, probably some mindless brawling and bleeding. Be interested in seeing Jake Cross, but I doubt Bo would be the best to showcase his talent. Bo wins in hopefully under 5.

Scott Lost vs. Disco: Good match central. Disco is a capable guy and Scott put on a great match with his selling and work. As everyone has already said, he was the star at the WPW 2003 Best of the West. Disco has looked really solid since coming back from his break. I’ll be glad to see what these two can pull off, but look to see Scott win in 8.

Mike Vega vs. Steve Sanchez: No idea, though look for Mike to try to kill himself to get over with the fans, then come and scream about it on the internet. I don’t ever remember seeing Steve, so I’ll be looking to see if he can do anything here with Mike who can be very solid when he tries hard and keeps himself under control. Does anyone else think Mike looks like Kid Viscous?

Nick Berk vs. Open Challenge: Not sure who will be here and I’ve only seen Nick on tape, so your guess is as good as mine, maybe better since I don’t watch much CZW. Nick wins his match, though I doubt it will be worth flying him out unless they are going use him consistently as a character. He won’t draw any more fans. Look for them to go up to 15 and to showcase Nick.

PCW Tag Team Championship: Damage Inc. vs. Aerial Express: Not sure about this one, could be very entertaining with all 4 being at least good workers, though it could end up being a styles clash. Look to see Bennett get involved. I’d like to see Scorpio fly against Matrix who can hold his own in the air. Look for new champs in 10.

PCW MAXimum Championship: Joey Ryan vs. Lil’ Cholo: Should be a good encounter leaning towards show stealer. Cholo knows how to work and Joey is certainly no slouch. It’d be nice to see them go a little longer than normal and see if Cholo can keep from being blown up. Joey wins in probably 10, though I’d like to see them go 15-18. Match of the Night.

Messiah vs. Kaos: I am very interested in this match. I have never seen Kaos work, and have been quiet impressed with Messiah’s work since he left XPW. His PCW ladder match with Frankie was great, so let’s see what he can do with Kaos. I hope to see Kaos impress me like Messiah did when he left. I see Messiah taking it and a possible match of the night contender.

So Yea, Pagans . . .
Stefan Gamlin is going to fight in an MMA-rules match in Japan against Bob Sapp? HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Who the hell does Stefan think he is? Now, as far as I’ve heard, Bob isn’t the greatest fighter to grace a ring, but Stefan is far from a fighter. Stefan is an overblown juicer who thought he was God’s gift to professional wrestling. He’s going to get his ass handed to him. I just hope he’s getting paid well. Again, as I say, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! I wonder how much Bassman is getting out of all of this.

Outro . . .
Work permitting I will be able to review PCW this weekend, but I’m not making any promises this time. Please send all feedback and suggestions to maskedassassin@hotmail.com.
